Estimators
When you engage Rockpress for your project, you’ll be assigned an Estimator to manage every aspect of the job. This means you’ll have one contact person to keep you informed on the progress of your work.
All our Estimators are trade-qualified in steel fabrication, so you can be confident your project is being managed by someone who clearly understands your requirements and expectations. Your Estimator will be responsible for:
- Quoting and budgets
- Briefing and co-ordinating our design team
- Managing production timelines
- Liaising with workshop staff

Designers
Rockpress has a team of full-time 3D CAD/CAM design professionals who are all metal trade-qualified. Our Designers are proficient in Computer-Aided Design and Computer-Aided Machining software.
If you have a concept but no details, or your job requires 3D modeling for absolute precision, Rockpress can provide the design expertise. Our designers will meet all your design criteria and specifications to get the best results for your project, including the most cost-effective approach.
Even when you provide your own specification drawings, we’ll still produce a set of workshop drawings as machine files for our tradespeople and equipment to interpret – enabling us to work to the highest tolerance levels.
Workshop Trade Staff
Experienced tradespeople operate our technologically-advanced equipment throughout our one-stop-workshop factory.
And we make sure our tradespeople continually advance their skills, to put these new technologies to best use for your job. All our workshop staff are tested and formally-qualified to AS 1544.1 SP, AS 1544.4 SP and AS 1544.6.
At the same time, they’re all skilled in traditional steel manufacturing techniques to complement our modern processes.
