Rockpress is an accredited fabricator with Australian Stainless Steel Development Association (ASSDA).
Rockpress is one of just 27 ASSDA accredited fabricators operating in Queensland. Our ASSDA accreditation means we are required to have an in-depth understanding of all successful technical practices when fabricating stainless steel.
ASSDA accreditation is a mark of knowledge, experience and quality – an endorsement of our compliance with excellence in the fabrication of stainless steel products.

Our management practices, production procedures and documentation, resource management, staff training and education programmes, our customer satisfaction measures – in fact all our work practices – have been scrutinised and endorsed to the highest standards.

Rockpress is AS/NZS 4801 accredited for our Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems
Our Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) Management Systems meet the strict standards of AS/NZS 4801. This demonstrates that Rockpress is serious about the health and safety of our customers and our workers – effective OH&S management and workplace injury prevention are our priorities.
Rockpress is ISO 14001:2004 certified for our Environmental Management Systems
Rockpress is proud to be recognised for our environmentally sustainable work practices with our ISO 14001 certification. This means we have an Environmental Management Scheme (EMS) that is based on a strategic approach towards policies, planning and actions under environmental best practices.

Awards
SAI Global Systems Excellence Award
Rockpress have made it to the Finalist stage of the OH&S Management Systems category of the 2010 Systems Excellence Awards.
Rockpress is amongst five finalists in this category.
Clem 7 Tunnel
Rockpress was awarded the role as supplier of creatively-designed steel components for the Clem 7 Tunnel entrances. As one of Brisbane’s latest structural icons, a distinctive visual statement that would stand the test of time was the brief – and Rockpress delivered – with steel lining strips, incorporating neon backlighting; and sculptured stainless steel framing line the tunnel entrances.
Enviro-Cottage
Rockpress was a major contributor to Spring Hill Enviro-Cottage, a project designed to meet the challenge of environmentally-sustainable housing design. Rockpress fabricated metal screening fixed to the exterior of the refurbished Queenslander.
Not only do these screens provide insulation benefits and energy efficiencies, they contribute greatly to the aesthetic appeal of the home’s design. That’s thanks to Rockpress’ expertise in precision punching, cutting and forming of large format steel sheeting.
