Heavy Steel Bending
Rockpress has the capacity to bend heavy steel in sheets up to 4 metres long, with our range of TRUMPF Multi-Axis Press Brakes.
These TRUMPF machines represent the very best of German Press Brake technology. Rockpress has eight TRUMPF Press Brake machines of varying capacity, providing immense flexibility and productivity potential. The benefit for you is faster and the most cost-effective turnaround on your project. Our bending stations include:
- A single 320tonne machine, 4.4 metres long with Bending Aid
- A single 200tonne machine 4 metres long with Bending Aid
- A single 170tonne machine 4.2 metres long with Bending Aid
- Three 130 tonne machines, 3 metres long with Bending Aid
- Three 50 tonne machines, 1.8 metres long
Each of these TRUMPF Press Brake machines also provides high and close tolerance bending for one off projects or large quantity repetition orders.
All fabrication work on our Press Brake machines is programmed by our own Design professionals and the individual job specifications are stored on our Computer Server. When you need repeat orders produced, your job specifications can be accessed quickly and accurately for processing.
In addition to state-of-the-art bending machines, our extensive and comprehensive range of case hardened tooling removes the risk of contamination rust on the bend lines of stainless steel when exposed to a corrosive environment. We can also create custom tooling profiles to suit specialised bending requirements.
