We are essentially a jobbing shop with the skill, expertise, equipment, flexibility and experience to handle a huge variety of demands from the very smallest to the quite large.
Our three dimensional Computer Aided Drafting and modelling capability provides us with a level of flexibility that enables us to comply with almost any specified requirement. We can easily combine elements of both Light and Heavy Fabrication where such a blend is necessary. Add to this our very excellent and state of the art Laser cutting capability coupled with our very precise bending facilities (200 tonnes and four metres) enables us to provide a level of accuracy and repeatability that is up there with the best.
We can work with a wide range of materials. Mild steel and stainless up to 20 mm in thickness, as well as Zinc coated steel, aluminium, copper and brass.
rockPress is an ASSDA accredited fabricator and our Inverter Welding Technology and highly skilled and accredited welders provide the ability to comply with the stringent requirements of Australian Standard AS 1554. In detail we can meet the standard to work with SP Carbon Steel (AS1554.1), SP Quench and Tempered Steel (AS1554.4) and Austenitic and Ferritic Stainless Steel (AS1554.6), add to this the capacity to work with bare and flux cored wire up to 500 amps and you will appreciate that we can offer a very wide range of first class welding options.
Machining of surfaces or components can be accommodated as can the various finishes of Galvanising, Zinc Coating or Powder Coating where specified.
We also have a 6x2x2 metre bead blasting booth to cater for that need with either stainless or aluminium products.
